The Hibbing Fairgrounds Arena is owned and operated by the Hibbing/Chisholm Youth Hockey Association.  This arena is home to most HCYHA activities.

The arena is located behind (NE of) the Hibbing Community College.

Fairgrounds Arena ice is available for rent while ice is in.  Requests for ice rental for Chisholm or the Memorial Building should go to their respective city offices.  Rental requests for the Fairgrounds arena only can be made for:

• Additional ice time for existing HCYHA athletes exclusively in coach-led scenarios (no charge)
• Hibbing high school hockey players and Cheerleaders, both boys and girls (nominal fee)
• HCYHA staff and families ($25/hour)
• Members of the local public ($80/hour)
• Men's or Women's Open Hockey - priority hours scheduled each week throughout the season ($60/hour)

Please email hibbingchisholmyouthhockey@gmail.com to check availability and reserve a time.  Reservations must be made at least 1.5 weeks in advance to assure arena staff are available.  In addition, ice requests must be adjacent to other scheduled events.

**Ice is out of the Fairgrounds arena for the season as of 3/16/2023.

HCYHA utilizes the Memorial Building for up to 200 hours per hockey season.  The historic building is home to our High School hockey programs and all HCYHA tournaments when available.

The Chisholm Sports Arena is used throughout the hockey season and for spring and fall programming.  The spacious facility makes it an ideal home for mini-mite and mite practices as well as tournaments.
